I got to learn all about the birth of railways and shop in the Pedestrian Heart area while enjoying the privacy of my own space. I even had a library of books and DVDs to keep me entertained.
Oh, how I loved the indoor tennis court. So glad I had the chance to use it.

I liked the experience of staying in an apartment as it was easier to sort meals and snacks and worked out much cheaper compared with staying in a hotel and eating out. The apartment was very clean and well decorated. Also received very good information regarding directions to apartment, nearest supermarket etc. prior to the trip.

Owners very helpful and appreciated the kind jesture and thoughtfulness of providing a bottle of wine, biscuits, coffee, jams, butter, etc. The facilities were excellent and the apartment was very comfortable with the supermarket round the corner for your morning paper, etc. Parking on the street no problem even if you came back late at night and although a busy street you did not hear the traffic. We would certainly go back to Railway House again.
We were staying four nights and they only provided one hand and bath towel each but after telephoning it was no problem to supply us with more.

The apartment was well equipped and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was also in a great location, with ample street parking available. Another advantage was the free wifi, which connected easily and had good performance.
The bathroom could use some improvements, such as redecorating and professional maintenance. The gloss paint was yellowed and there were some amateur repairs.

Good facilities; Good decor; Comfortable and clean.
No sharp knives for eating or cooking. Entry is by a key coding system and would have been impossible had the owner not happened to be visiting the site.

Very helpful owner. Reasonably central location. Free on street car parking. Excellent shower and plentiful hot water.
It was not easy to regulate the temperature of the central heating and some additional information abpout how to operate the oven would have been good.

It offers reasonable prices. On the whole, it’s cosy base for having fun and exploring Darlington. The apartment has peaceful near a restaurant, town centre, supermarkets and popular fast food outlets, and the main rail station...
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The TV was easy to use and the wifi had a good connection. the location was within walking distance of the town center and shops, which was a major plus.
Getting in was a bit difficult, but the owner was very helpful when we reached out. One small inconvenience was that we had to bring our own matches for the cooker.

Spacious, well equiped apartment. Good security and clean.
At first sight I thought it would be noisy but the windows kept out all noise and the road outside was very quiet at night.

The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, making it super convenient for us to bring our own food. The TV was easy to use and the free wifi had great connectivity. The free parking right outside the front door was a huge bonus, and we even found a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge! The communication from the owner/manager was excellent, and the location couldn't have been better. The apartment itself was mind-blowingly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and lounge area that had games to keep us entertained. The bedrooms were comfortable and a good size. Being within walking distance to a supermarket was a jaw-dropping convenience. And let's not forget the free on-street parking - that was the cherry on top!

I needed accomodation for 3 adults and this proved an excellent and economical choice. The accomodation was extremely clean and comfortable with added bonus of the flexibility of home comfort, close to Darlington town centre and rail station.
